Tournament Report Our Opening Tournament again this year was hosted by the Pee Wee “A” Team. It was won Gold again this year by our Host Vikings with Alex Johnson (Head Coach) and his bench staff. This Tournament is hosted in memory of Bobby Joe Ryan. Atomania Tournament was hosted by our Atom “C” Vikings making to the crossover game before elimination (very proud of these players and Head Coach Richie Hannem along with his bench staff). Novice 3 Tournament was hosted by the Advancing Team and the Intermediate Team. All Teams had a great time. Leaha Dugas (Kids against Cancer) Tournament was hosted by both of our Pee Wee “C” Vikings Teams. $5,097.00 was raised for Pediatric Cancer at the Regional this Year. All of the Officials donated their time to ref the games (A BIG THANK YOU TO THESE GUYS FOR THEIR HELP). And to the Sydney Mines & District Community Center for the Ice Donation. And finally the parents of the players for selling the even splits for cancer. I would like to thank all of our Viking Parents for the job they do in the Hospitality Room, the welcoming feeling they give to the opposing Teams entering our Tournaments. We always received great feedback on the Tournaments we Host.
