2016-2017 ATOM REPORT
Firstly, I would like to thank head coaches John MacPhee, Jeff Bond and Paul Gale, and their coaching staffs for their hard work and dedication to the player's this past season. It was a fun year of atom hockey and the players showed much improvement over the course of the season. Great work guys.
The atom c teams once again participated in the McDonald's atomc program. They received new uniforms and were offered several programs and contests by McDonald's.
The Atom a team, coached by John MacPhee, had a very successful season. They won the Sullivan tournament this year and had a very strong playoffs.
Atom c team 2, coached by Jeff Bond, had their struggles early on but turned out to be a much stronger team after Christmas. The dedication of the coaching staff to develop these player's was evident. Team 2 were very competitive in their tournaments and also competed well in the playoffs.
Atom c team 1, coached by Paul Gale, did very well this year. They medalled in all their tournaments and won this year's playoffs. Congratulations to Paul for being named coach of the year.
Once again, thanks to all involved for giving these kids a great year of atom hockey.
