This tournament is held in memory of Bobby Joe Ryan of North Sydney. Bobby Joe was a beautiful little boy born on lucky St. Patricks Day, March 17th, 1993. He loved playing hockey but tragically, in 1999, he was fatally injured when struck by a puck while playing a fun game at the rink. Bobby Joe is lovingly remembered by his parents, Wayne and Joanne, his sister Breanna, and a multitude of other family and friends whose lives he touched.
On behalf of Wayne, Joanne and Breanna, the Northside Minor Hockey Association and the Northside Vikings PeeWee ‘A’ Hockey Team, we welcome you to this year’s tournament and we hope everyone enjoys a safe and fun-filled weekend.
