NSDMHA would like to announce our new development team for the upcoming 2023-2024 season.

Jacob Jessome who grew up in Georges River, where he played through Northside Minor Hockey Association and went on to play for the Memorial Marauders. he completed his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology at Cape Breton University and is set to graduate with his Bachelor of Education in June of 2023. Jacob has been involved with Northside Minor Hockey in different levels for the past 4 years, including evaluation & tryout processes, development sessions, and coaching with our U13A,U15AA teams and the Memorial Marauders Boys Hockey Team.

 

Jacob Keagan grew up in North Sydney and played minor hockey with the Northside before moving on to the Memorial Marauders. He then moved on to the NSJHL, being apart of the Atlantic Canadian Champion Kameron Junior Miners in 2018. He played his final two seasons for the Strait Pirates and was the captain in his last season. Jacob spent a season as the Assistant Coach for the Cabot Highlanders in NSU16AAA Hockey League in 2020-21 and was the Head Coach of the U15AA Northside Vikings in 2022-2023. He also is the Co-Owner of J&J Hockey Programs.

Jacob is currently finishing his Human Kinetics degree from ST.FX.
